Welcome to Glazebury Church of England Primary School

Welcome to all parents, children, and visitors.

Thank you for taking the time to browse our school website—we hope it gives you a clear and informative insight of what life at Glazebury has to offer.

On behalf of our governors, staff, and pupils, a very warm welcome to our school. We are proud to be rated GOOD with Outstanding Personal Development by Ofsted (September 2023).

Our Vision and Values: H.E.A.R.T.

At Glazebury, everything we do is anchored by our core promise to our children, encapsulated in our H.E.A.R.T. values:

  • H — Helping children to prepare for life, growing with God.
  • E — Embracing Christian values.
  • A — Achievement for all.
  • R — Reading at the heart of our school.
  • T — Teaching a knowledge-rich curriculum.

"Love never fails" — 1 Corinthians 13:8

Growing and Achieving Together

As a Church of England school, we strive to promote a loving, caring environment with Christian values at the very centre of our community. We recognise that every child is special and unique, each bringing their own distinct contribution to our small and caring school.

We strongly believe that the primary years are the most crucial time to develop and encourage a sense of wonder and discovery, allowing our children to truly flourish at the heart of God's community.

We are all exceptionally proud of our school and consistently maintain high standards of both behaviour and academic achievement. We are a high-attaining school that combines educational excellence with a nurturing atmosphere.

Working in Partnership

I feel truly honoured to lead such an inspiring and caring school, and to be given the opportunity to ensure every child reaches their full potential.

We firmly believe that schools and parents play a vital role in every child's learning journey. Building a strong, collaborative partnership with families is one of our top priorities, and we truly look forward to working closely alongside you.

Warm regards

Mr Sachin Sharma

Interim Headteacher
