Admissions Arrangements

Glazebury Primary School has a published admission number of 15 children per year group.
Nursery has 13 morning and afternoon nursery places for 3 / 4 year olds and 8 morning and afternoon nursery places for 2 year olds.

We have a strong tradition of home/school partnership. There are many opportunities for parents and carers to be involved in their child's education. Deciding which school to choose for your child is one of the most important decisions taken by a parent and we welcome visits on an individual basis to school to come and meet our staff, our wonderful children and to view the school.

To arrange a school visit or enquire about places available please telephone the school office on 01925 949404.

We can advise you on which year groups have available places, and we hold our own waiting list should particular year groups be full.  Local Authority in year application forms and school application forms can be obtained directly from school or via WBC.  Our school office will guide you through the application process for all in year admissions.

For admission annually to start school in reception class.  The local authority application process opens online September each year and closes in January.  Parents will be notified directly from the Local Authority of the school allocation in April prior to their child starting school in September.  The school then organises an in-depth transition process so your child is fully prepared for starting school.

Please contact the school directly on Tel: 01925 949404 and speak to Mrs Kathryn Holcroft in the school office to arrange a visit and discuss admissions.

If you need any further information or help with admissions, please contact the school office or: The Admissions Team, Education Dept, Buttermarket Street, Warrington WA1 2NJ, Tel: 01925 446226.
