At Glazebury Primary School, our vision for Computing is to inspire and equip all children with the digital skills they need to succeed in an ever-changing technological world. We believe Computing is a vital part of modern education and aim to provide a curriculum that encourages creativity, problem-solving, and digital literacy. Pupils access a wide range of technology, including iPads, laptops, and interactive software, which enhances learning across all subjects. We follow a structured scheme of work that covers computer science, information technology, and digital literacy. A key focus of our curriculum is online safety. Every half term, we deliver dedicated E-safety lessons to each year group. These lessons cover important topics such as keeping personal information safe, respectful online communication, identifying reliable sources, and understanding the risks linked to social media and gaming. At Glazebury, we are committed to helping pupils become thoughtful and capable digital citizens.
